CyberCoders, Inc. seeks a skilled Labor and Employment Associate to handle complex disputes, including PAGA actions, discrimination, retaliation, and harassment.

This role covers plaintiff and defense work across motions, discovery, depositions, and trials, with client counseling on compliance and risk mitigation. Ideal candidates have a JD and CA bar, 4+ years in labor and employment litigation, and strong drafting and research skills.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and CA bar admission or ability to obtain promptly.
• 4+ years of litigation experience in labor and employment law with PAGA experience preferred.
• Strong drafting, research, and writing skills with appellate/ motions experience.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and client communications in a fast pace.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse labor and employment docket including PAGA actions and discrimination claims.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, briefs, and settlements.
• Lead depositions, mediations, and court appearances as needed.
• Counsel clients on employment compliance and risk mitigation strategies.
