Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Experience representing employers on both class and individual wage and hour matters.
• Experience with personnel policies and employment agreements.
• JD from an accredited law school with solid academic performance.
• Good standing with the CA State Bar.
• Strong interpersonal, writing, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and initiative to own work.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in class and individual employment litigation matters.
• Advise clients on wage and hour compliance, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, leaves of absence, and accommodations.
• Draft and review personnel policies and employment agreements.
• Conduct legal research and prepare briefs, motions, and other written work product.
• Work directly with clients from a variety of industries across the country.
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues in the Labor & Employment Group on complex matters.
• Take ownership of assigned matters and manage them from start to finish.
