Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a detail-oriented L1 Hosting Tech Support Agent for a fully remote, long-term role. You will handle hosting and WordPress issues via live chat and tickets, ensuring fast, accurate responses and high CSAT scores while managing 2–3 conversations concurrently.

The role emphasizes client empathy, problem solving, and documentation, with a fixed mid or night shift across Monday–Friday and a Philippine holiday observance. Equipment provided.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of solid technical hosting support experience.
• Basic to intermediate WordPress knowledge; troubleshoot plugins/themes.
• Experience with FTP/SFTP, cPanel, or custom hosting dashboards.
• Strong DNS/SSL knowledge and HTTP status codes.
• Basic MySQL queries and site migrations.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class hosting support via live chat and Zendesk tickets, 2–3 concurrent chats during peaks.
• Diagnose and resolve WordPress hosting issues and identify root causes.
• Assist customers with WordPress tasks including plugins, themes, and config errors.
• Check DNS, SSL certificates, and website accessibility; troubleshoot server issues.
• Run basic MySQL queries and migrations to fix backend problems.
• Use Linux CLI to diagnose server-side problems.
• Meticulously document issues and escalate complex problems to senior teams.
• Meet KPIs: CSAT, AHT, QA scores, Acceptance Rate, and wait times.
• Maintain active presence on Slack and Zendesk during shifts.
