Job summary

Global Impact Group LLC is seeking Kirghiz (Kyrgyz) Over-the-Phone Interpreters to support a USCIS contract. Provide real-time telephonic interpretation for USCIS officers, applicants, and stakeholders from remote locations using secure systems.

Must maintain confidentiality and uphold ethics while participating in training and quality reviews. Remote position with competitive pay and advancement opportunities under a federal contract.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Kirghiz and English.
• 2+ years interpreting experience (immigration, legal, asylum, NGO, or government preferred).
• U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/5 federal clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Kirghiz (Kyrgyz) English telephonic interpretation for USCIS officers, applicants, and stakeholders.
• Interpret accurately, impartially, and professionally in immigration and asylum contexts.
• Maintain confidentiality in line with USCIS/DHS interpreter ethics and standards.
• Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge interpretation requests.
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance reviews.
