Job summary

Global Impact Group LLC is seeking Azerbaijani Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support a USCIS contract. The role requires native or near-native Azerbaijani and English, with 2+ years of professional interpreting experience in immigration or related fields.

The position offers remote work on a federal project, paid training, and opportunities for advancement within quality assurance or project leadership. Candidates must meet security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Azerbaijani and English.
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience.
• Familiarity with interpreter ethics and confidentiality.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Azerbaijani-English telephonic interpretation for USCIS officers, applicants, and stakeholders.
• Interpret accurately, neutrally, and professionally in immigration, legal, and administrative contexts.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with USCIS/DHS interpreter standards.
• Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge calls.
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance reviews.
