Job summary

Singer Equipment Company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Management team in coordinating the installations of commercial kitchens. This role involves on-site and off-site support to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project completion.

You will attend job-site meetings, review shop drawings, manage changes, and coordinate with contractors and customers. The position requires travel and a collaborative, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Three years of commercial kitchen/restaurant project management field experience; preferred.
• Experience with construction/industrial projects strongly preferred.
• MS Office Suite required.
• Experience managing multiple projects at various stages concurrently; required.
• AutoQuotes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with contractors/owners/customers for field coordination, inspections, and measurements.
• Review equipment releases and shop drawings to release equipment on time and within budget.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, and field coordination with contractors and trades.
• Communicate with project team and internal/external stakeholders.
• Support project managers, meetings, and site inspections.
• Attend corporate events and trainings as required.
• Coordinate warranty calls and installation issues post-turnover.
• Review and support project billings and track costs.
• Travel to jobsites up to 100+ miles.
