This remote, work-from-home role requires delivering accurate interpretation between Khmer and English across industries such as healthcare, government, and finance. You will join a compliant, supportive team with training and advancement opportunities.

You will interpret on-demand, participate in training, and maintain professional, culturally aware communication while working from a quiet home environment.

Qualifikationen

• Fluency in Khmer and English with cultural dynamics.
• Ability to read/write the requested languages – highly preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Aufgaben

• Respond to video and audio interpreting sessions promptly and conduct interpretation professionally.
• Participate in online, video and audio training sessions.
• Deliver interpretation services via video and type data on a dedicated device.
• Render correct concepts and meanings according to interpretation protocols.
• Speak clearly in both languages with proper pronunciation and polite expressions.
• Maintain professionalism and calm on calls, including emergency situations (e.g., 911).
• Maintain punctuality and availability during scheduled work hours.
• Follow client instructions to meet LEP expectations and protocols.
• Understand terminology for various industries (Medical, Insurance, Finance, Law).
• Remain neutral and detached during sensitive conversations.
