Job summary

The Hartz Mountain Corporation is seeking a Sales Key Account Manager for the Kroger portfolio. This remote role focuses on end-to-end account management, leveraging data insights to drive growth and maximize category performance across major grocery accounts.

Ideal candidates will have Kroger experience, strong analytical skills, and a track record of strategic sales planning. Remote work is supported from various U.S. states with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of direct sales experience, or 5+ years without degree, in national grocery accounts.
• Proficiency with Kroger systems and vendor reports to meet customer scorecards.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets within approved trade spend for territory and categories.
• Develop and monitor annual business plans for assigned accounts.
• Analyze POS and sales data; communicate trends and risks to internal and account teams.
• Identify opportunities for category and line reviews and build selling stories.
• Ensure retail margins and promotions align with brand strategy and shelf position.
• Forecast customer events and manage related planning.
