Job summary

BookNook, Inc. is seeking USA-based tutors to deliver math and reading instruction entirely from home. You will work as a 1099-eligible independent contractor, supporting K–8 students across the USA with pre-provided lesson content and daily practice materials.

Opportunities align with the school year (September–May). Most sessions run 30–45 minutes, with peak demand 4:00 PM–7:00 PM ET on weekdays. A college degree is preferred and teaching or tutoring experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in classroom teaching or tutoring, online instruction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-designed math and reading lessons via the BookNook virtual classroom.
• Maintain student engagement and behavior online.
• Provide practice time and corrective feedback to students.
• Support scheduling within the school year and contribute to a positive learning environment.
