Job summary

BookNook is seeking USA-based math tutors to join a fully remote program for the fall. You’ll teach using provided lesson content and practice extensions, with sessions scheduled during school hours and evenings.

You control your calendar, commit to at least 80% of claimed sessions, and earn $20 per hour (30-minute blocks). The role is 1099 independent contractor, with support from a collaborative tutor community.

Qualifications

• Experience as classroom teacher, tutor, or similar student support.
• Online instruction experience preferred with a college degree.
• Ability to build rapport and motivate learners.
• Reliable high-speed internet (≥20 Mbps).

Responsibilities

• Deliver math tutoring using provided lesson content and practice materials.
• Lead 30-minute or longer sessions with students across grades K–8.
• Maintain engaging virtual sessions and track student progress.
