Job summary

BookNook is seeking USA-based math tutors to support students this fall, delivering pre-designed lessons in a fully virtual classroom. Tutors work 30-minute sessions with a pay rate of $20 per hour, primarily during the 4:00 PM–7:00 PM ET window, and have the flexibility to set their own schedule within the school-year framework.

All sessions are 100% from home, with guidelines to attend at least 80% of claimed sessions and to review content as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in online instruction or tutoring, with ability to follow pre-designed lessons.
• Ability to engage students, provide corrective feedback, and manage virtual classroom behavior.
• Comfort with math tutoring and guiding practice using provided materials.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-designed math lessons and guided practice in a virtual classroom.
• Maintain student engagement and behavior during sessions; provide supportive corrections.
