Job summary

BookNook Inc. is seeking independent contractors to tutor math to K–8 students across the United States from a home setup. Roles are 1099-eligible and involve delivering pre-provided lessons using a virtual classroom.

Typical sessions are 30 minutes, with most hours clustered 4:00 PM–7:00 PM ET on weekdays. Tutors choose their hours, attend a high-demand window, and can earn incentives in addition to base pay of $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience as a classroom teacher or tutoring/coaching role with online instruction is valued.
• Ability to maintain student engagement and provide supportive corrections.
• Comfort delivering math lessons using pre-designed content to K–8 students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-designed math lessons to students across the USA.
• Maintain virtual classroom behavior and student engagement during sessions.
• Schedule and attend weekly sessions remotely within provided window, with flexibility as needed.
