Job summary

The Book Nook is seeking tutors to deliver pre-designed math lessons to K–8 students across the United States. Tutors work from home and use provided lesson content with practice extensions, maintaining student engagement and supportive corrections.

Opportunities are 1099-independent contractor roles with high scheduling flexibility and potential incentive payments. Availability during peak hours 4:00 PM–7:00 PM ET is advantageous, with sessions typically 30 minutes long.

Qualifications

• Experience in classroom teaching, ESL/ELL, tutoring, or similar student support.
• Online instruction experience with a college degree preferred.
• Ability to build meaningful connections with students and foster a motivating learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-designed math lessons and provide practice extensions.
• Guide students with supportive corrections and maintain engagement.
• Tutor across the USA for grades K–8 using provided content.
