Job summary

ACCEL Schools seeks a qualified speech-language pathologist for online service delivery to K–11 students in Texas. The role includes virtual therapy, assessments, and family-centered treatment planning, with cross‑team collaboration and district compliance.

The position requires licensure, strong data interpretation, and ability to engage diverse classrooms. Occasional travel for state testing and events is expected.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensure in appropriate area
• Proficient in computer applications including MS Office Suite and Google applications
• Strong content knowledge in one or more content areas
• Exhibit genuine care for children and a passion for teaching
• Strong ability to gather, analyze, and interpret student data
• Flexibility with daily challenges and job duties
• Integrity and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work in a diverse educational community setting
• Understanding of state proficiency testing and teaching standards
• Satisfactory completion of state required criminal history check and health tests
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality virtual speech-language therapy services to a wide variety of students in grades K-11
• Conduct standard and non-standardized assessments, analyze results and write reports
• Develop treatment plans that are strength based and family-centered
• Ensure IEP/ETR and progress monitoring procedures adhere to guidelines
• Collect daily data and adapt treatment based on trends
• Attend IEP and ETR meetings and document findings
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and educational team
• Act as case manager for students with speech and language needs
• Guide implementation of classroom strategies to support skill generalization
• Develop and communicate daily schedules to leaders and supervisors
• Conduct hearing screenings and refer as needed
• Pursue ongoing professional development
• Support students and teachers through intervention processes
• Utilize district software for compliance and reporting
