Job summary

Newsela is seeking an Account Executive to join a regional sales team covering the Eastern U.S. remotely, with travel ~15% to meet district leaders. You will own the territory, manage full sales lifecycle from prospecting to closing, and design territory plans aligned to district initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle K-12 EdTech SaaS sales in East Coast states.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
• Experience selling to school districts and district leadership.
• Legally authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Own your territory and manage the entire sales lifecycle.
• Forecast and build pipeline; design territory plans aligned to district initiatives.
• Meet with district leaders; negotiate terms and close deals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive growth.
• Travel ~15% as needed.
