Job summary

Revolution Foods is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to expand partnerships with K-12 districts in San Diego and surrounding region. This remote, field-based role focuses on growing our presence in school nutrition and meal programs.

You will build relationships with superintendents and district stakeholders, negotiate deals, and manage a consultative sales process from prospecting to contract execution while achieving territory growth targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in K-12 foodservice sales or brokerage
• Experience selling into the K-12 education market
• Experience with foodservice brokers preferred; vended meal programs a plus
• Strong relationships with district decision-makers and executives

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities with K-12 districts and charter schools in the assigned territory
• Build and maintain relationships with Superintendents, Business Officials, Child Nutrition Directors and other district stakeholders
• Re-engage former customers and identify opportunities to recover lost business
• Manage a consultative sales process from prospecting through contract execution while achieving territory growth objectives
• Partner with internal teams to develop customized meal solutions that meet district needs
• Support new program launches (breakfast, lunch, supper, and other school nutrition initiatives)
• Represent the company at industry conferences, school events, trade shows, tastings, and customer engagement activities
• Maintain an active sales pipeline, forecast opportunities, and deliver against revenue goals
