Job summary

Revolution Foods seeks a driven Business Development Manager to expand partnerships with K-12 districts and charter schools across San Diego and surrounding region. This is a remote, field-based role for a sales professional focused on improving student access to nutritious meals while driving business growth.

The ideal candidate has a proven history selling into the K-12 education market and building executive-level relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in K-12 sales, including work for a foodservice broker.
• Experience selling into the K-12 education market.
• Measurable sales success in K-12 school nutrition/foodservice.
• Experience with vended meal programs is a plus.
• Ability to build executive-level relationships and navigate district purchasing.
• Self-motivated, able to work remotely in a field-based environment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities with K-12 districts and charter schools.
• Build relationships with Superintendents, Business Officials, and Nutrition Directors.
• Re-engage former customers to recover lost business.
• Manage a consultative sales process from prospecting to contract.
• Partner with internal teams to create customized meal solutions.
• Support new program launches (breakfast, lunch, other nutrition initiatives).
• Represent Revolution Foods at industry events.
• Maintain a sales pipeline and forecast opportunities to hit revenue goals.
