Job summary

Coforma is hiring a Junior Software Engineer to join a distributed team supporting a federal government client. You will write production code in C#/.NET, pair with seniors, and learn Dynamics, Azure Government, and integration landscape.

You will work on a large travel reimbursement system, focusing on safety, tests, and clean docs, with a clear growth path within 90 days and beyond.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional software engineering experience or equivalent (degree in CS or related field acceptable)
• Solid programming fundamentals and willingness to learn
• Ability to read and contribute to production code with guidance
• Experience with CI/CD and testing practices desirable

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and ship well-scoped production code in C#/.NET with guidance from senior engineers
• Write automated tests for your own work and help grow test coverage
• Participate in code reviews and feedback cycles
• Pair with senior engineers on larger features to learn system architecture
• Investigate and fix production bugs; read logs and telemetry
• Make changes in Dynamics 365/Dataverse and Power Platform with support
• Write and maintain technical documentation as you learn
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and communicate progress and blockers
