Job summary

Coforma is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our distributed team supporting a federal client. This remote US role focuses on the Dynamics/Dataverse and Azure Government landscape, building skills from fundamentals in C#/.NET.

You will write production code, tests, and docs, participate in reviews, and collaborate with senior engineers to learn the system’s architecture and secure coding practices for a PII and payment data environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional software engineering experience or equivalent through degree, bootcamp, or similar
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and C#
• Experience with SQL and REST/JSON APIs

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and ship production code in C#/.NET with guidance from senior engineers
• Write automated tests for your own work and help grow test coverage
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback
• Pair with senior engineers on larger features to learn system architecture
• Investigate and fix production bugs and read logs/telemetry
• Configure and customize Dynamics 365/Dataverse and Power Platform
• Write and maintain technical documentation
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and estimate work
• Follow secure coding practices for PII and payment data under a federal Authority to Operate
