Job summary

Computer Information Concepts is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Modern .NET) to build a new ERP web-based suite for county and city governments. You will own substantial backend capabilities from API design to production support in a backend stack of C#/.NET, EF Core, SQL Server, and Azure.

You will collaborate with platform, frontend, and product teams to shape backend standards, influence architecture, and deliver reliable, maintainable software that scales as the platform evolves.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend systems.
• Strong production experience with C#/.NET and ASP.NET Core.
• Proficient in REST APIs, data modeling, and SQL Server.
• Experience deploying cloud-hosted apps, preferably Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Willingness to mentor others and contribute to standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver REST APIs, domain logic, and background workflows for ERP domains.
• Model durable data structures and manage EF Core migrations and SQL performance.
• Own complex capabilities from discovery to production follow-up.
• Collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to slice work into increments.
• Help define integration approaches as customers transition to SaaS.
• Build unit and integration tests around business rules and data integrity.
• Contribute to CI/CD, observability, and production diagnosis.
• Design secure, auditable workflows compliant with government software needs.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews and documentation.
