Dragos, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Junior OT/ICS Lab Engineer to design, build, test, and validate OT lab environments.

You will work with senior engineers to create realistic OT scenarios, test detection and response capabilities, and support threat research activities in a remote-first team across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and APAC. The role emphasizes practical lab work, strong networking fundamentals, and familiarity with virtualization, PLCs, HMIs, and OT protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong networking foundation including OSI model, TCP/IP, and routing.
• Hands-on experience with lab/test environments and virtualization or containers.
• Basic IT infrastructure and security concepts.
• CLI proficiency (Linux/Windows); scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell a plus.
• Willingness to learn OT protocols and engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and maintain OT lab environments simulating real scenarios.
• Test Dragos platform capabilities against OT threats.
• Collect telemetry and support threat research activities.
• Document configurations and runbooks for team onboarding.
• Troubleshoot lab infrastructure and provide access to teams.
