Job summary

Dragos is seeking a Junior OT/ICS Lab Engineer to design, build, test, and validate OT lab environments. You will work with senior engineers to simulate real OT scenarios, deploy sensors, collect telemetry, and validate Dragos platform capabilities.

This hands-on role requires networking fundamentals, Linux/Windows CLI, and scripting, with a willingness to learn OT protocols. The team operates remotely across North America and supports critical infrastructure protection.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in networking and OT concepts.
• Hands-on experience with lab/test environments and virtualization/containerization.
• Comfort with Linux/Windows CLI and scripting.
• Ability to follow technical documentation and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and maintain lab environments simulating real OT scenarios.
• Set up and manage PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, and networked devices.
• Deploy sensors and monitoring to collect OT traffic and telemetry.
• Document lab configurations and procedures for the team.
• Execute test plans to validate Dragos platform against OT threats.
• Collect and analyze network traffic and device telemetry in labs.
• Reproduce issues in controlled lab environments.
• Contribute to threat scenario development and validation.
• Troubleshoot lab infrastructure and device configuration issues.
• Support researcher and engineering access to OT lab resources.
• Maintain lab runbooks and training materials.
