Placements24 is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join a remote-first legal team. You will assist senior counsel with commercial transactions, draft and review agreements, and ensure regulatory compliance. Qualifications

• Law degree (LLB or equivalent) and admission as an Attorney.
• 1–3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in commercial or corporate law.
• Strong understanding of contract law and general commercial principles.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior legal counsel in providing legal advice on commercial transactions, contracts, and regulatory issues.
• Draft, review, and modify standard legal documents, agreements, and policies.
• Conduct legal research on various matters to support the legal team's objectives.
• Support the management of corporate compliance and governance requirements.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders across departments to understand their legal needs.
• Help manage external counsel relationships and track legal project progress.
