Job summary

Diversified, a global audiovisual and media technology leader, seeks a strategic Legal Counsel for a remote U.S. role.

You will support sales, operations, procurement, and leadership with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements while balancing business objectives with legal compliance in a fast-paced environment. You will report to the General Counsel and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to mitigate risk and enable growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal experience in corporate or law firm environments with a focus on commercial transactions.
• Strong understanding of intellectual property, data protection, and privacy laws.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with drafting and managing commercial transactions; international/government contracts helpful.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) required.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial agreements.
• Advise leaders on commercial, operational, compliance, and corporate matters.
• Identify legal risks and propose actionable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate transactions.
• Assist in litigation management and outside counsel coordination.
• Support corporate governance, entity management, and board documentation.
• Contribute to mergers, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on impacts.
• Develop and update corporate policies and contract templates.
• Support ethics, privacy, and compliance programs.
• Participate in internal investigations and provide risk guidance.
• Deliver legal training to leadership and staff.
