Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled In-House Counsel specializing in Contracts to join its legal team. This fully remote role supports a dynamic business environment and requires drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a high volume of commercial agreements while ensuring legal compliance.

The ideal candidate is admitted as an attorney with at least five years in contract law, able to work independently, provide strategic advice, manage risk, and contribute to major negotiations from anywhere

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with at least 5 years of experience focused on contract law.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Strong understanding of relevant commercial laws and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and risk mitigation.
• Ability to manage a high workload and prioritize effectively in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including service agreements, supplier contracts, and licensing agreements.
• Provide expert legal advice on contract interpretation, risk assessment, and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand contract requirements and ensure alignment with company strategy.
• Develop and maintain contract templates and playbooks to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, from initiation to execution and renewal.
