Job summary

Big Sky Care Connect is seeking a Junior Integration Analyst to support the technical implementation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of healthcare data integrations for the BSCC HIE. You will work with experienced team members, participants, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver reliable connectivity and a positive integration experience.

This role offers a path to deeper knowledge of interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, and health data exchange platforms,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Some experience with healthcare IT, data integration, or technical support.
• Basic understanding of HL7, FHIR, and healthcare EDI concepts.
• Interest in healthcare interoperability and HIE platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies, processes, and systems quickly.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users, customers, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist Operations, Implementation, and Project/Program teams with interface implementations and onboarding.
• Support interface configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and post-production support.
• Collaborate with participants and vendors to configure solutions for clinical workflows.
• Review interface specifications and configurations for discrepancies or issues.
• Assist with troubleshooting HL7 interface messages and other integration issues.
• Monitor onboarding and integration activities, communicating risks and dependencies to seniors.
• Assist with change requests and post-go-live upgrade activities.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and repeatable procedures.
• Communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support multiple integration activities while prioritizing work and meeting deadlines.
