Job summary

Qualifications

• Seven or more years in systems integration or interoperability engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with HL7 FHIR and API-driven health data exchange.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Health Informatics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical integration of core administrative systems, utilization management platforms, clinical data sources, and external partners.
• Define reusable integration patterns for APIs, batch processing, messaging, and event-driven solutions.
• Lead FHIR R4 solutions supporting Patient Access, Provider Access, Provider Directory, and electronic Prior Authorization using Da Vinci, US Core, CARIN, CDS Hooks, and SMART on FHIR standards.
• Direct ingestion, transformation, and mapping of clinical data from EHRs, HIEs, labs, and vendors to ensure quality and provenance.
• Design and optimize cloud-based APIs and data pipelines across Azure, Snowflake, Apigee, with CI/CD and secure authentication practices.
• Manage integrations with vendors and trading partners, including testing, deployment readiness, and risk resolution.
• Establish testing, monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident-management standards; perform root-cause analysis of failures.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide guidance across Product, Engineering, Data, Architecture, Security, and Operations.
