WOW Remote Teams is seeking a Junior Estimator to support residential construction, remodeling, and restoration projects in a fully remote capacity across the United States.

The role involves preparing detailed estimates, reviewing scopes, and monitoring material costs. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, computer-savvy, and comfortable working independently with estimating software like Xactimate.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with construction estimating software (Xactimate or similar).
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities are required.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for construction, remodeling, and restoration projects using estimating software.
• Review project scopes and documentation to identify materials, work requirements, and costs.
• Analyze photos/videos from project walkthroughs to develop accurate line-item budgets.
• Use Xactimate or comparable tools to organize project costs and estimates.
• Research and compare current material pricing to support accurate estimates and margins.
• Track material costs and identify pricing differences affecting profitability.
• Maintain organized estimating documentation for active projects.
• Assist with updating estimates when scopes or prices change.
• Collaborate remotely with stakeholders while independently managing estimating responsibilities.
• Support the estimating team with additional project costing as needed.
