St. Michael's Inc. is seeking a Junior Budget Analyst to support a DHS client's financial management office.

The role requires a Public Trust clearance (or eligibility), a bachelor's degree, and 1–3 years of federal financial experience. You will prepare variance analyses, reports, and procedures across DHS policies in a client-facing capacity. Primarily remote with occasional in-office reports in the National Capital Region; MS Office proficiency is essential, and a base salary range is

Competenze

• Public Trust Clearance or eligibility to obtain.
• Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• 1–3 years of federal financial and accounting experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work effectively with a group or independently.
• Ability to read/interpret management policy, regulations, and directives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint).

Mansioni

• Provide variance analysis and recommendations to improve processes, metrics, and statistics.
• Coordinate with Regional Offices and HQ Divisions to distribute reports and analyze data.
• Review and update financial policies and procedures for DHS-related client requirements.
• Develop/update reports/tools to address audit findings and provide training on processes.
• Provide ongoing expertise in financial policy, analysis, and reconciliation of records.
