Job summary

Qualifications

• Foundation in backend development and API design.
• Experience with Java/Spring Boot and/or Python.
• Familiarity with SQL/PostgreSQL and Databricks.
• Understanding of cloud environments (Azure/AWS) and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, test, and improve RESTful APIs and backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
• Support microservices development, including implementation, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
• Investigate backend and API issues in development and production environments, escalating complex issues and contributing to timely resolution.
• Build and support data processing workflows using Databricks notebooks with SQL and Python.
• Create, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL queries and data models, and help diagnose data accuracy or performance concerns.
• Work within Azure or AWS environments and follow established CI/CD and development practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with senior engineers on technical design, delivery, and prioritization.
• Communicate progress, findings, and technical questions clearly to support cross-functional problem-solving and production support.
