Job summary

Agility PR Solutions is seeking a Junior Software Developer (Content Integration & Data Pipelines) to design and implement scalable pipelines for collecting, processing, and delivering online news and web content. You will work across backend, web scraping, and integration efforts, building event-driven systems with Kafka and REST APIs.

You’ll contribute to data ingestion, parsing, indexing, and AI-powered features, collaborating with product owners and other engineers in a fully remote,

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Hands-on Java development and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with content pipelines, web scraping, and Kafka.
• Experience with Linux, Git, and Maven.

Responsibilities

• Develop code using an Agile development process.
• Build new features and enhance existing products.
• Maintain web scrapers and content integrations using TypeScript and Nest.js.
• Design and implement RESTful API services in Java.
• Develop event-driven services using Kafka to process content.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and product teams.
• Ensure code quality through testing and reviews.
