Job summary

Entara is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join the finance team. You will work closely with the Controller to manage day-to-day accounting, maintain records in QuickBooks Enterprise, and support monthly close processes.

The role requires 1–2 years of accounting experience, strong QuickBooks skills, and fluent English, with a contractor engagement via Deel and a competitive USD compensation structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA track or completed degree.
• 1–2 years of hands-on accounting experience, especially in professional services.
• Proven proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Suite is mandatory.
• Advanced English (written and spoken).
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily Bookkeeping: Record bills, invoices, payments, and transactions accurately.
• Accounts Payable: Process vendor payments and maintain AP records.
• Accounts Receivable: Assist with AR activities and follow-ups.
• Reconciliations: Perform bank and credit card reconciliations; resolve discrepancies.
• Month-End Close: Support monthly close with journaling and reconciliations.
• System Maintenance: Maintain accurate accounting records in QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Compliance & Coding: Ensure transactions are properly coded and documented.
• Ad-Hoc Support: Assist Controller with financial reporting and audit requests.
