Orbital Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Joint Use Designer for a REMOTE WORK role, with strong preference for experience in DDS and Katapult. You will support JU and make-ready projects, prepare drawings, and assist with cost estimates and schedules.

The position involves field support, QA/QC, and collaboration with clients to determine cost-effective, safe designs across utility and communication networks. Occasional site visits may be required.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of fieldwork or construction experience.
• Associate degree with 0-2 years in fieldwork or surveying.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering tech or related field with 0-2 years preferred.
• Prior utility design or make-ready design experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings/schematics.
• Experience with pole loading or construction modeling software is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare construction documents for overhead and underground facilities.
• Prepare make-ready work for joint use projects.
• Assist in engineering estimates and project schedules.
• Provide field support during construction and QA/QC reviews.
• Analyze field data and update software in design workflow.
• Travel may be required to client sites; work may be remote/office-based.
