Piper Companies is seeking a Jira Support Engineer to join our growing tech organization. This role focuses on providing Tier 1 and 2 Jira support, troubleshooting platform issues, and ensuring Jira environments are administered and maintained effectively.

The ideal candidate has about 3 years of Jira support or admin experience, enjoys problem solving, and delivers customer-focused technical support. This long-term contract role is remote with EST- hours.

Competenze

3+ years experience supporting Jira in an admin/analyst/support role.
Experience handling Tier 1 and Tier 2 tickets in a service desk.
Working knowledge of Jira projects, workflows, permissions, and custom fields.
Experience with Jira Cloud and/or Jira Data Center.
Familiarity with Confluence and Jira Service Management.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Mansioni

Respond to and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 Jira tickets.
Troubleshoot Jira issues and provide timely resolutions.
Assist with Jira configuration, user management, dashboards, filters, and project setup.
Support workflow updates, field configurations, notification schemes, and permission schemes.
Document support processes and knowledge base articles.
Escalate complex issues to senior admins.
Collaborate with business teams to improve Jira functionality.
Monitor platform performance and maintain system stability.
