Job summary

Compass Group USA seeks an experienced Remote IWMS Systems Administrator to manage the FM:Systems IWMS environment, ensuring space, occupancy, moves, maintenance, and workplace data are accurate and available. The role partners with Facilities, Real Estate, IT, and business teams to meet operational goals.

The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years in IWMS administration with FM:Systems experience, strong data governance, and solid reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Facilities Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-3+ years of experience administering an IWMS, with direct hands-on expertise in the application FM:Systems.
• Experience configuring and supporting space management, occupancy, move management, reservations, maintenance, or workplace services.
• Strong understanding of facilities management, corporate real estate, and workplace operations processes.
• Experience with system administration, user security, configuration, workflow support, and integrations of dependent software solutions.
• Experience with data imports, exports, validation, and data quality management.
• Strong reporting skills, including SQL, reporting tools, dashboards, or BI platforms.
• Familiarity with CAD drawings, BIM, space data management, and floor plan coordination.
• Experience supporting enterprise application integrations.
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• On-site availability and ability to be the POC when vendors are on site.
• Ability to benchmark and analyze scalable metrics across the portfolio.
• Experience creating presentations for highly visible projects.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the FM:Systems platform, including configuration, user setup, permissions, workflows, and module support.
• Provide day-to-day platform support, troubleshoot issues, manage incidents, and resolve defects or data problems.
• Configure and optimize FM:Systems modules to support space, occupancy, moves, maintenance, and workplace services.
• Maintain high-quality facility data, perform audits, and ensure data integrity.
• Coordinate CAD/floor plan data integrations with CAD or related drawing systems.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs for facilities and workplace decision-making.
• Coordinate integrations between FM:Systems and HR, ERP, Active Directory, and other platforms.
• Support system upgrades, patches, and changes with testing and change control.
• Create system documentation, SOPs, and training materials; train end users and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Facilities Management, Real Estate, IT, and vendors to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Support governance, security administration, audit readiness, and data-access policies.
