Job summary

CERIS, a division of CorVel, is seeking an Itemization Review Team Lead to support the Itemization Review Supervisor and collaborate with the IBR team and CERIS internal departments. This is a remote position.

You will guide the IBR process, drive data-driven decisions on billing accuracy, and document conclusions in the designated system while leading a small team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Must maintain current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Itemization Review.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.
• Experience in medical bill auditing preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Q&A support for the IBR Team.
• Works with coordinator and internal departments for consistency and accuracy.
• Collects data and analyzes information to ensure billing accuracy.
• Documents work and final conclusions in designated computer program.
• Meets department expectations and standards.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
