Qualifications

• Must hold current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the OR, ICU, or ER as an RN.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.
• Experience in medical bill auditing preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Review charges on UBIB submissions to determine accuracy of billed charges.
• Document work and final conclusions in the designated computer program.
• Understand surgical implants and HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain department standards and perform additional duties as assigned.
