Job summary

Gundersen Health System is seeking a Manager for ITDS Training & Optimization to lead a team of Instructional Designers in delivering enterprise-wide training. The role focuses on end-user training, optimizing software use, and aligning programs with clinical and business goals.

Remote work is offered with residency requirements in WI, MN, MI, or IA at hire. You will partner with ITDS, clinical staff, and vendors to identify skill gaps, measure impact, and drive data‑driven improvements while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent 3-4 years' education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 3-4 years adult education or training experience.
• Proven ability to build relationships with diverse leaders including physicians, IT and business operations.
• Track record of training program development and management.
• Experience with process and quality improvement.
• Knowledge of learning and development best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of Instructional Designers to develop and execute training programs.
• Provide leadership to recruit, develop, engage, and retain a high-performing team.
• Stay abreast of IT trends and training methodologies to keep programs relevant and effective.
• Administer technology competency within six months of hire.
• Build partnerships with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Align training initiatives with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to identify skill gaps and gather feedback.
• Champion innovative methodologies and tools to enhance learning and system performance.
• Ensure focus on strategic priorities to maximize impact and resources.
• Oversee financial performance and cost-effective solutions.
• Manage software vendors and service providers for contracts and issue resolution.
• Foster data-driven decision-making and continuous process improvements.
• Track KPIs to evaluate initiative success and stakeholder satisfaction.

Education
