Job summary

Gundersen Health System in Wisconsin seeks a Manager of ITDS Training & Optimization to lead the Instructional Design team and oversee enterprise training programs. You will partner with ITDS, clinical and business staff to align learning with organizational goals.

The role emphasizes change leadership, mentoring, and data-driven improvements, with remote/hybrid eligibility and a focus on meaningful use of technology to support clinicians and operations.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years adult education or training experience.
• Ability to build relationships with physicians, IT and business operations.
• Proven track record of training program development and management.
• Experience with process and quality improvement.
• Knowledge of learning and development best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of Instructional Designers to develop training programs.
• Recruit, develop, engage, and retain a high-performing team.
• Stay abreast of IT trends, technologies, and training methodologies.
• Complete applicable technology competency within six months of hire.
• Build partnerships with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Align training initiatives with organizational goals and strategy.
• Work with clinical/business staff, ITDS teams, and vendors to identify skill gaps.
• Champion new methodologies and tools to enhance learning and system performance.
• Oversee fiscal targets and cost-effective solutions.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.
• Foster data-driven decision-making and track KPI performance.
