D-Wave is seeking a Manager, IT Support & Systems to lead a small, high-impact System Administration and Support Services team. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on security, reliability, and scalability of our infrastructure. The role is remote within Florida, with Boca Raton as a bonus.

You will guide IT operations, on-call coverage, and cross-functional collaborations across DevOps and business teams, while maintaining strict governance and incident response discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive IT experience spanning systems administration and end-user support.
• 3+ years leading or supervising IT staff, including hiring and performance management.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft infrastructure: AD, Intune, Entra ID.
• Experience with ITSM platforms and SLA-driven service delivery.
• Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure, and tools like Atlassian and Microsoft 365.
• Strong judgment, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to set priorities, manage competing demands, and make decisions that support both short- and long-term goals.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of System Administrators and support services; own hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
• Set priorities and coverage, including on-call and after-hours rotation.
• Architect, deploy, and maintain modern, secure, scalable infrastructure.
• Manage security tools: firewalls, IDS, MDM, antivirus, and encryption management.
• Administer Atlassian Suite and core platforms: AD/LDAP, Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft 365, Zoom, GitHub.
• Oversee governance and access for AI tools in use (Claude, ChatGPT, Fellow).
• Lead major incident resolution and root-cause investigations; drive documentation and standards.
