Job summary

SaidGig is seeking an IT support specialist to train AI systems by handling real-world technical inputs. You will diagnose hardware and software issues across Windows, Mac, and Linux, document steps, and provide clear guidance for non-technical users in a remote contract role.

You will contribute to knowledge-base content and feedback for AI training, collaborating asynchronously in a remote project. Prior AI experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Tier 2/3 IT support across diverse OS and networks.
• Strong hardware, software and networking troubleshooting with root-cause analysis.
• Experience documenting incidents and resolutions in ITSM or similar ticketing systems.
• Proficiency in Windows, Mac, and Linux support.
• Clear written and verbal communication for non-technical end users.
• Ability to develop technical process documentation and knowledge-base materials.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ or ITIL Foundation are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across Windows, Mac, and Linux.
• Apply TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN knowledge to incidents.
• Document incident details, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in ITSM.
• Provide step-by-step technical guidance to non-technical users.
• Create scenario-based examples and knowledge-base content.
• Give well-documented feedback to AI training and improvement.
• Collaborate asynchronously in a remote setting with quality written and verbal feedback.
