Job summary

Tyson & Mendes is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to provide remote support to firm employees nationwide. You will troubleshoot issues, support end-user devices, and assist with network, software, and security tasks across multiple platforms.

The role reports to the IT Supervisor and includes Windows, 365, Exchange, and Azure familiarity. Responsibilities include triaging tickets in ZenDesk or similar systems, documenting solutions, and communicating technical concepts to non-technical staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant service desk or help desk experience
• Associates’ degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred
• Experience with ZenDesk, ServiceNow, FreshDesk or similar ticketing system
• Experience with Windows, Microsoft 365, Exchange, and Azure
• LAN/WAN networking knowledge
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Administer end-user workstations and support end-user activities using Windows
• Analyze and resolve network hardware and software failures
• Manage and train on network devices, Security, DM Systems, WAN/LAN, remote computing, desktop support
• Translate technology to non-technical staff
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on software and equipment
• Maintain records/logs of repairs in ZenDesk
• Other priorities and projects as assigned
