Job summary

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a Junior IT Recruiter / Talent Sourcer to support recruiting for technical and IT positions across federal programs and proposals.

You will identify, source, and screen candidates for software development, systems administration, cybersecurity, cloud, data, IT infrastructure, business analysis, and other technical roles, while learning terminology and asking focused questions to assess fit.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of recruiting, sourcing, talent acquisition, or related experience.
• Experience sourcing or screening candidates for IT, technical, engineering, or other professional roles.
• Ability to review technical resumes and evaluate candidate experience against defined job requirements.
• Familiarity with common IT job families, technologies, certifications, and technical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Recruiter in executing sourcing strategies for active IT and technical requisitions.
• Collaborate with Program Managers and technical stakeholders to understand required technologies and qualifications.
• Source technical candidates using networks, ATS, resume databases, and job boards.
• Search for candidates using technical keywords, job titles, skills, certifications, and Boolean techniques.
• Review resumes and compare candidate experience to job requirements.
• Conduct structured phone screenings to validate technical experience and qualifications.
• Document candidate qualifications and screening results for the hiring team.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and teams.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring IT skill sets.
• Track sourcing activity and recruiting metrics.
• Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the process.
• Support recruiting for both active contracts and federal proposal opportunities.
