Job summary

CAI seeks an IT Project Manager to lead multiple large IT projects, including deployment on cruise ship initiatives. This role is an 18‑month contract with remote work and extensive international travel, including long continuous stints.

Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and driving projects from initiation to deployment while aligning with business objectives, timelines, and budgets. Candidates must have strong PM skills and be able to work extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience managing multiple IT projects within budgets and timelines.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience creating and maintaining project plans, resource schedules, risk assessments, and status reporting.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to travel internationally for extended periods as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple IT projects concurrently from initiation through deployment.
• Coordinate resources, timelines, budgets, and milestones across shipboard and land-based teams.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, risk logs, and status reports.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, Infrastructure, Development, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Operations.
• Facilitate communications between technical teams, vendors, and business partners.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays and costs.
• Drive continuous process improvements for project execution and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company PM methodologies and quality requirements.
• Support team development and lead hands-on project execution activities.
• Coordinate international travel and deployment activities on cruise ship programs.
