Job summary

CAI is seeking a motivated IT Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and drive multiple large IT projects with a focus on shipboard deployments. This remote 18-month contract requires extensive international travel and willingness to work extended hours to meet milestones.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure alignment with business objectives while supporting new-build cruise ship initiatives and deployment projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or related field or equivalent experience
• Experience managing multiple IT projects within budgets and timelines
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices
• Experience creating and maintaining project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and status reporting
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and vendor relationships
• Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple moderately complex IT projects from initiation through deployment
• Coordinate 20–40 application deployment projects across shipboard systems and venues
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and risk logs
• Partner with Product, Infrastructure, Development, Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing and Operations
• Lead project status meetings and provide updates on schedules, risks, issues, and deliverables
• Drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and company standards
• Support team development and collaborate across project teams
• Coordinate deployment activities aboard cruise ships and shipyards
