Job summary

CAI is seeking an IT Project Manager for an 18‑month contract with remote work and extensive international travel. You will lead multiple large IT projects, align with business objectives, and manage timelines and budgets aboard shipboard environments and deployment initiatives.

You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, drive risk mitigation, and ensure quality, while staying flexible to evolving deployment schedules and stakeholder needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience managing multiple IT projects within budgets and timelines
• Knowledge of PM methodologies and best practices
• Experience creating and maintaining project plans and risk assessments
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to travel internationally for extended periods
• Experience with application deployment projects

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple IT projects concurrently from initiation through deployment
• Coordinate 20–40 application deployment projects across shipboard systems
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and risk logs
• Partner with Product, Infrastructure, Development, Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, and Operations teams
• Lead project status meetings and provide updates on schedules, risks, and deliverables
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with PM methodologies and quality standards
• Support team development and cross‑functional collaboration
• Drive continuous process improvements for efficiency and cost savings
