Job summary

Sprezzatura is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead federal IT initiatives in a remote setting. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams across a system‑of‑systems environment, overseeing applications, data exchanges, retail systems, and POS platforms to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery using Agile methods.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain VA background investigation and PIV credential.
• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/IS or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 15+ years of experience managing complex IT projects or programs.
• Experience supporting federal government agencies or large public-sector environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading Agile software development and technology modernization initiatives.
• Experience managing enterprise systems, system integrations, or system-of-systems environments.
• Experience managing retail technology, POS systems, transaction processing, inventory management, or related operational platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Confluence, and Microsoft Project Online.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent Agile certification.
• Preferred: Experience supporting large-scale retail operations, enterprise commerce platforms, or distributed transaction systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent IT projects supporting federal government programs and enterprise modernization initiatives.
• Develop and manage project schedules, integrated master plans, budgets, resource plans, and delivery roadmaps.
• Oversee project execution from initiation through implementation and operational transition.
• Track project performance, milestones, dependencies, risks, and contractual deliverables.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives, technical solutions, and program priorities.
