Job summary

Sprezzatura Management Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master in a Hybrid role based in Arlington, VA to deliver on VIPPS modernization initiatives. You will lead agile teams across platform, functional implementation, and data & integrations, coordinating schedules, risks, and dependencies to meet milestones and release objectives.

Position Title: Project Manager/Scrum Master
Location: Hybrid – 2 days a week in Arlington, VA office

POSITION SUMMARY

Sprezzatura is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master to support implementation of a modernized Integrated Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution Procurement System (VIPPS). This position will provide day-to-day delivery management and Agile leadership across three concurrent workstreams: Platform, Functional Implementation, and Data & Integrations.

The PM/Scrum Master will coordinate execution across technical and functional teams, manage schedules and dependencies, facilitate Agile delivery, and ensure work remains aligned with program milestones and release objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage day-to-day execution across the Platform, Functional Implementation, and Data & Integrations workstreams
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Coordinate sprint goals, priorities, schedules, dependencies, and delivery commitments across the three workstreams
• Identify, track, and elevate risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and impediments affecting delivery
• Coordinate cross-functional activities spanning requirements, platform configuration/ development, integrations, testing, security, help desk and releases
• Work with technical and functional leads to ensure work is sufficiently defined and ready to support planned sprints and releases
• Maintain project schedules, delivery forecasts, metrics, and status reporting
• Support the Program Manager with client reporting, governance, deliverables, and executive-level status
• Maintain accurate delivery information in Jira, Confluence, and applicable VA project management tools
• Promote effective Agile practices and continuous improvement across the delivery teams

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Engineering, Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 7+ years of IT project/delivery management experience, including complex system implementations
• 3+ years supporting Agile/Scrum delivery teams as a Scrum Master, Agile PM, Delivery Lead, or similar role
• Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple concurrent technical and functional workstreams
• Strong experience with Agile delivery, schedule and dependency management, risk/issue management, and release planning
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and working with technical, business, and client stakeholders
• Experience with Jira and Confluence or similar tools
• Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills
• Ability to meet applicable VA background investigation/security requirement
• VA or other Federal Government experience
• Experience with enterprise financial management, ERP/EPM, PPBE, acquisition, or similar business-system implementations
• Experience with OneStream or comparable enterprise financial management platforms.
• PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or comparable certification

WORKING CONDITIONS

Standard Business hours are Monday through Friday. Occasional extended or weekend hours may be required based on operational needs. Must have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting.

PAY RANGE

The base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $135,000 annually, depending on geographic work location, relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, security clearance, and contract requirements. Geographic salary ranges are determined in accordance with the company's compensation practices and represent a good-faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting.
