Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks an IT Procurement Lead to shape enterprise technology sourcing strategies within a highly regulated healthcare landscape and to drive multi-year category plans across software, cloud, data, and technology-enabled services.

You will lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contract implementation while partnering with Legal, Finance, Privacy, Security, and Compliance to balance cost, risk and value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business, supply chain, technology, finance, or related field.
• Eight+ years of progressive experience in IT procurement or strategic sourcing within a regulated industry.
• Experience negotiating complex software, SaaS, cloud, data, and technology-enabled services agreements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year category strategies and sourcing pipelines informed by business priorities, market intelligence, spend and risk.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives: requirements, market assessment, competitive events, supplier evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and implementation support.
• Negotiate complex software, SaaS, cloud, data and technology-enabled services agreements with favorable pricing, licensing, data rights and renewal protections.
• Advise senior leaders on sourcing strategies, market dynamics, supplier options, and trade-offs.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance, and Enterprise Architecture to support timely decisions.
