Humana Inc. is seeking an Associate Vice President, IT Procurement & Supplier Management to lead a 40+ person organization focused on converting technology spend into business value, speed and resilience. You will act as a strategic commercial partner to Technology leadership.

In this remote role, you will shape category strategies for software, cloud, hardware and services, drive negotiation excellence, and build an analytics-enabled procurement capability across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Procurement or related leadership roles.
• Experience with large technology spend (> $1B).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior Procurement partner to the Technology Leadership Team.
• Translate strategy into integrated category and supplier strategies.
• Shape demand, assess total cost, risk and strategic implications.
• Lead a 40+ associate organization of category and supplier managers.
• Develop renewal planning and executive decision calendars.
• Establish governance, scorecards and performance measures.
• Embed analytics, AI and automation into strategy development.
